Ontario citizens do not want to amend the plan to protect the Greenbelt. Premier Ford knows this, and promised not to touch the Greenbelt in 2018.
This is a clear giveaway to Ford donors, under the guise of a plan to address the City of Toronto’s shortage of affordable housing. It is NOT a plan to address the City of Toronto’s shortage affordable housing. It is unfettered development in a precious protected natural zone.
The Greenbelt is a carbon sink, a migration path for animals and a recreational space for Ontarians.
Please do not allow this abomination to take place. DON’T TOUCH THE GREENBELT, like you promised.
