Farmland can not be replaced once developed. Our Greenbelt was protected to ensure food, water and a delicate ecosystem is maintained and available for future generations.
Sprawl doesn’t help build thriving communities and doesn’t even begin to address the housing crisis. This will line the pockets of developers, increase reliance on car transportation and raise taxes for municipalities.
Build up, not out. Build transit, not highways.
