It would be extremely detrimental to the environment, human health, economy, and society to remove any areas from the Greenbelt. "Redesignating" lands are not the same as protection and enhancement. Adding lands in Paris is a good idea, but these should be an addition, not some sort of attempt at compensation. The Greenbelt is too valuable to lose; it is already threatened by so many factor, fracturing it's connectivity would have a severe negative impact on every human and non-human life form that relies on it.
