Building homes is important but cannot come at the long term quality of life of Ontarians. The greenbelt, wet lands, and flood plains are of critical importance for but the survival of our outdoor-loving culture (and travel/tourism industries), but to our mental health, biodiversity and climate change survive-ability. Don’t sell out our environment for short term political and financial gains. Rethink development within urban centres. Build up not out. And keep the reigns steering our province’s future out of the hands of profiteering developers.
