The protection of all watercourses is imperative. Undefined swales feed into watercourses downstream and that is what creates a defined channel. Watercourse that do not have a defined banks are just as important as those that do.
Limiting Conservation Authorities to comment only on hazard lands is short-sighted and will lead to economic and environmental loss. Conservation Authorities hold a wealth of information that is needed to help Ontarians be resilient against increasing damages resulting from climate change. We are facing a global crisis and you're removing the expertise to deal with it.
