Comments on ERO 019 6177 Review of A Place to Grow and Provincial Policy Statement

Comments as follows:

I do not agree that the Provincial Policy Statement needs to be amended to facilitate the building of 1 500 000 housing units by 2032. That goal is unattainable and should not be done at the expense of a piece of legislation which until the enactment of Bill 23 was actually a good piece of legislation. So simply put, my single comment on this proposal is that the Provincial Policy Statement is a useful adjunct as is and I do not believe that it serves any useful purpose in the provincial scheme of things by amending it. Please leave this piece of legislation as it was until Bill 23.
