I do not agree with "cap and trade" as it just fills in the dips and spreads pollutants around and does nothing to lower the total amount of carbon output; That is, Ontario's environmental policy was not strict enough! We need to have consumer incentives and industrial incentives to LOWER OUR CARBON OUTPUT. Doug Ford, you are irresponsible in backtracking on this issue. You aren't saving anyone money, just kicking the can further down the road. You are not going to "make Ontario great" by pretending that our track record of wrecking the environment never happened. It's time to face reality and get tough on fossil fuels.
