Given the recent UN report…

Given the recent UN report detailing the dire need to cut global greenhouse gas emissions, I find it egregious that our Provincial Government is proposing Bill 4 to cancel the current cap and trade system. Not only is the cancellation shocking, but also the fact that it is being done with no alternate viable plan in place to achieve the cuts so desperately needed if we are to keep the planet's global warming within a survivable level. In my eyes, this proposed cancellation illustrates how our government is engaging in a "tragedy of the commons" situation where in the end we will all pay the price.
