Mitigating climate change is THE most important issue of our time. According to a new UN report, even meeting the terms of the Paris agreement will not be enough to prevent environmental catastrophy and human suffering on a scale we have never seen. Mr. Ford please consider the plight of your children and grandchildren and billions of other children around the world. The cost of not doing EVERYTHING within our power to mitigate climate change will be far far higher to Ontarians than the cost of mitigating strategies such as cap and trade. This is the ONLY political issue I will be basing my votes on, and the political issue that I will be advocating that others vote on as well, in any and all elections at all levels of government. This is bigger than me and you, it is our moral obligation to humanity.
