The Bradford Bypass is not a necessary bypass. Studies have proven over and over again that this bypass is not necessary. The Environmental Assessment that was last done is TWO decades old. So much has changed since then.

We, the people, say 'NO' to this bypass. We have to listen to the science. The Premier's own staff who reviewed this proposal have said 'NO' to it. He is not listening to the science. When politicians make decisions, while disregarding seriously important environmental issues, this can destroy our environment.

Lake Simcoe, wetlands, watersheds, wildlife, including species at risk, rivers, streams, forests and farmland are at great risk with this bypass. Our own CANADIAN national heritage will also be destroyed "The Landing".

Repeal Bill 23 and stop this unnecessary destruction of our GREENBELT. Once it is gone, it is gone for good. The Premier said he would not touch the greenbelt. He lied to his constituents. He further said he would take from here put over there. What madness. You cannot switch around wetlands and watersheds.

The Bradford Bypass must be Halted at Once. Thank you for reading this letter.
