I strongly disagree with the proposal to allow new licences and transfer of licences for dog training and trial areas in Ontario. This was stopped in the past for all the right reasons. Nothing has changed, it is still cruel to the wild animals that are trapped and held captive in these penned areas. Wild animals should remain wild and not be used as training aids for dog owners and trainers. We are abusing our wildlife for the pleasure of hunters. Appalling behaviour by the Ministry of Natural Resources to bring this back in Ontario.
