I am writing to express my displeasure with the repeal of the carbon tax. As the recent report of the IPCC has revealed, the time for action on climate change is now; we must be taking stronger actions to decarbonize our lives if we wish to avoid catastrophe. I cannot help but feel that this decision is short-sighted; a carbon tax is a small price to pay, too small in fact. I call on this government to introduce even stronger measures to reduce Ontario's carbon footprint.
