This is a barbaric practice…

This is a barbaric practice that causes pain, fear and torturous death to innocent creatures. We have laws in place to prevent cruelty and abuse, so why is this even being considered as “acceptable “? Even “normal” in this day and age when we are supposedly more aware?

Importantly, it seems odd, and questionable, that the self serving interests of a few is enough to change a law that applies to all of Ontario.

An argument can be made that this may lead to the acceptance of other cruel and inhumane practices.

I’m appalled that this is even being considered.
