I don't see the point of creating more of these facilities. Hunting regulations at the moment seem quite strict, so I can't imagine the demand for hunting dogs to be all that high. Second, killing captive animals does not mimic real-life hunting conditions, as the animals are not in their natural environment during this training. Third, these dogs could easily be trained out in the wild, with professional instructors putting them through trials in wild but controlled environments where the dogs could experience a true hunting scenario. Making more of these facilities seems like a waste of time, as well as an animal cruelty risk.
