The obsession with zoning more single-family homes over green/agricultural spaces is self-defeating. We need to densify existing urban areas (both in cities and small towns). This will save our environment and money at the same time as boosting the economy, as infrastructure costs decline per capita and traffic is ameliorated.
I will no longer be able to vote for a party engaged in this kind of short-sighted thinking.
