I look to my government for leadership to deal with difficult issues such as climate change.
I am horrified that this effective instrument is being repealed without any replacement legislation.
It benefits corporations that lead in effective pollution control.
It benefits the middle class.
It assists the Ontario economy through federal payments.
I do not see this legislation as acting FOR THE PEOPLE at all.

This government was elected with only 40% of the vote. It is not representational of the people.
It does not have a mandate - it only holds a non-representational majority of seats.

repealing cap and trade will hurt the Ontario economy and the provincial BUDGET by increased costs.
I expect better from a conservative government. Unless it doesn't really care about ME, MY CHILDREN, Ontario or Canada.

I look forward to seeing my comment in the public forum. Otherwise I will know it has been censored to only present favourable comments.
