The 1997 ban was put in place for a reason. Those reasons still exist. This practice is barbaric and inhumane. Causing needless suffering and immense distress to an animal who is simply trying to survive. This goes against a foundational belief that ethical hunters possess - a “fair” hunt.
Hunting an enclosed animal is not fair and it is not nature. It is cruel and UN-natural.
It is human beings trying to supersede nature for their own benefit.
