I absolutely reject and shame the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s proposal to allow new licenses and the transfer of licenses for train and trial areas in Ontario. It is a massive step backwards from the provisions put in place 25 years ago. It is disgusting that as evolved, civilized humans in 2023, that we would find a need to put an innocent wild animal, who has no idea what is going on and has NO FAIR CHANCE of defending itself or surviving, through this type of torture and gruesome horror filled fear to "train our dogs" for hunting. There are other ways to train dogs for hunting without resorting to barbaric practices like this. This is just completely unnecessary and it makes me and a lot of the people of Ontario SICK.
