This is ridiculous, unnecessary, cruel and likely dangerous in the long run. ‘Ontario has the best animal welfare in Canada’ says Doug Ford. Doesn’t this run counter to his already pathetically hollow words? If time is going to be spent on animal legislation, how about it’s used on something meaningful that could actually make a difference. Spend the time finishing the PAWS Act, make it enforceable and make sure it gets enforced. The government is spending time on the wrong things.
