It is inhumane to use captive wildlife as bait for either hunting or dog training. The province must put an end to this practice entirely. No new licenses should be issued and existing licenses should be revoked. Once captured, these animals are fed and however ill treated they may be, they have developed some familiarity with humans. This is similar to third world countries where they raise wild animals in captivity and then release them for blood sport. Their instincts have been compromised by the time in captivity and they do not stand a chance. This is unconscionably cruel.
