This week Ontario bakes at 30˚C temperatures in mid October. We know that record hot temperatures are broken more often than cold temperature records at a ratio of 2 to 1. The same scientists who have predicted this, also predict it will get much, much worse if we don't make drastic cuts to our emissions. Cap and Trade was a small step in that direction. And repealing it without a replacement is incredibly foolish, selfish and shortsighted.

Even today there was news that oil giant, Exxon, has come out in favour of a carbon tax. Putting the Ford government further into the Trumpian climate denier category than the companies that are producing the product that is overheating the planet.

For the sake of our children I implore you to reconsider this decision.
