It is important to have costs associated with high use of fossil fuel. Cap and Trade does this. More cost will result in people making better, more environmentally friendly decisions such as public transit, car pooling or staying home. I am opposed to the cancellation of Cap and Trade.

For the record, I live in a rural community without access to public transit. I still believe that higher fuel costs are necessary.

The money we save is hardly worth the environmental catastrophe that is about to hit us.
