Please withdraw this legislation, Bill 4. Climate change is real and is now an emergency that all of human civilization should urgently address. Ontario was "on the right track" with the previous government's cap-and-trade scheme and disbursement of proceeds to schools, hospitals, affordable housing, and green energy projects, etc. There should be no place for ideology in the taming of the human-caused carbon emission beast that is climate change. Get on with the existing cap-and-trade program, and also create carbon-limiting regulations for primary energy sector producers. Investors will continue to flock to Ontario and have confidence that Ontario is a stable jurisdiction for investing and creating good jobs in the green sector. Thanks, and all of our children will thank you.
