I am writing on behalf of myself and my family as a concerned citizen, and I am absolutely devastated that a government that claims to be "for the people" can so blatantly disregard hard won regulations as Cap and Trade that are at least intending to protect the future of our planet and to develop a sustainable economy for generations to come. If improvements can be made to the system, make them, but cancellation expresses outright disregard for process, progress and democracy. I have never been more outraged by a political decision in Ontario as I am about the cancellation of Cap and Trade.
