I am against cancelling…

I am against cancelling Ontario's participation in the Cap and Trade Program without a plan already fully developed and ready for implementation for Ontario to reduce carbon emissions in accordance with Canada's international commitments. We don't just need an orderly wind down if we are going to back out of the Cap and Trade program. We need an orderly transition to a new program that will be equally or more effective. Time is crucial. We should not have gaps in our efforts to mitigate climate change. Cancel now, plan later is not a responsible way to govern.
