This company and its directors are facing a combined 84 - that’s eighty-four- charges under the Fire Protection and Prevention Act. For them to be allowed to reopen would be turning a blind eye to criminally negligent operation that resulted in the death of an employee. Literally letting criminals get away with murder. As a resident of the area, we’ve barely begun to know the long term impacts of the hazardous materials that leeched in to the ground and spewed into the air that day.
They company and it’s directors have shown no signs of regret, remorse or responsibility for their negligent behaviours which cost an innocent employee his life. They need to face consequences not be allowed to reopen.
