Please save our beautiful Black Ash trees. Beaconsfield Quebec takes their ash trees seriously. They put out natural Ash borer controls like Fraxiprotec Fungus funnels (though sometimes the bottom tray falls off). They also use TreeAzin (neem tree sap). Introducing predatory wasps makes sense too. Teaching nature how to adapt is sustainable and environmentally sound.
Blaming beavers and deer for ash tree loss is scapegoating for the real issue of the current government reducing green belt protection and making it easier for developers and loggers to destroy trees through its “Build Faster Act”. Please reinstate and strengthen all the green belt protections and do not allow unrestricted development to continue. Stop cutting down the trees in the first place.
