If the Ontario Government is to proceed with this legislation (Bill 4), which I do not support, it must put in place a structure or structures that will provide at least an equivalent in current and future carbon dioxide emission reductions, based on credible, scientific evidence, as that which Bill 4 extinguishes. Not to do so would be blatantly unfair to Ontario's younger generations and future generations. I, for one, do not want to be remembered as the generation of selfishness and greed that brought about the environmental destruction and consequent economic destruction of our planet.
