I am a Ward 3 Etobicoke Lakeshore resident and this needs to be reviewed in light of the Brenntag fire that polluted Mimico and Humber creeks (MECP Skill Reference # 1-3Q4A8M) as the site didn't have spill protection and runoff found its way into the storm sewers. Ultimately, if we rush into change we are bypassing the engineering / surface- and groundwater review process which will not only undo the last 40 years of progress, but will lead to far more pollution incidents such as the one we faced with the Mimico and Humber creeks!
