Re: Bill 4, Cap and Trade Cancellation Act, 2018 Comment
Peterborough Public Health does not support Bill 4, Cap and Trade Cancellation Act 2018, based on the documentation of its consequences provided by the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario.[1] We recommend that the Government of Ontario continues to review literature and data surrounding Climate Change, Climate Action, and Cap and Trade in order to make an evidence-informed decision that will ensure the best possible outcomes in health, the environment, and the economy for the province.
Sincerely,
J. Corradetti, Health Promoter
On behalf of Peterborough Public Health.
