“When pollution is free, we can expect to have more of it.” I believe this statement to be accurate. If this bill passes, can we honestly say that as a province, we are doing something to curb the cause of climate change? Short term economic gain gains won’t pay for the mess we leave to our children.
The science is indisputable; our future is in jeopardy, whether this fact influences public opinion or not. Doing nothing about the situation is not a good option, we can’t bury our heads in the sand and hope for the best. Please don’t allow this bill to pass.
