In regards to the Get It Done Act: Getting rid of carbon taxes, and promoting personal gasoline car use, is very backwards. The carbon tax is an incentive towards renewables and public transit. Public transit is accessible for everyone. Please keep the carbon tax and invest in public transportation.
And building more urban sprawl outwards, rather than building into the cities, is not affordable nor practical. The sprawl is no where near a reliable transit line (which is the point, so people will buy more cars). Driving only works if one does not have a disability that makes it impossible to drive. So investing in more cars is not a universal design.
