This is a Ministry of natural resources protected area due to endangered wildlife and habitats. Fishing bans are on during spring spawning seasons where Molly's creek and the Sydenham meet and this dump is supposed to go right on top of the protected area of Molly's creek.
The run off is supposed to get pushed into the Sydenham further endangering everything that the MNR has protected all these years since the prior transfer stations closure.
Not only would you be putting the environment at risk by allowing this to happen you would also be putting The town at risk for health issues and even future economic issues as the Canners processing plant uses that fresh Sydenham water in processing tomatoes.
If it's contaminated water they start using could see even bigger detrimental problems to Chatham Kent area as a whole
