Despite the claims that all products of the soil washing would be disposed of safely, spills or leaks do happen. It is not a good idea to build such a facility in a populated area or an environmentally sensitive area such as the proposed location for the plant. Why can’t it be located in a more remote area. People are afraid of being poisoned and afraid for the well being of wildlife.
