This proposal requires a full comprehensive environmental assessment and to be completely shut down. Please help save our town! Everyone I know is so scared about the health risks and impacts this will have on our environment and would want to relocate if this is approved. So much of Ontario’s food is grown and processed in this small community, why would you put a landfill where you grow your food? It makes no sense to me. No one will want to move to this community if this proposal goes through. Who will compensate all of our community for the significant reduction to our property values and quality of life? No amount of money from York1 would make this okay. Our health is worth more than any dollar will ever be. Please help us.
