I do not support this location. A landfill of this magnitude should not be this close to town from an environmental and health perspective. That’s leaving aside the economic impact the sight and odour will have on the town’s tourism.

There is a waterway running through the property, surely there are better locations that don’t have environmental points of failure that lead directly to the Great Lakes.

Our heritage and environment are being destroyed. We are being discriminated against because we’re a small community and the hope is our voices are not loud enough. Shame on this entire process.
