Climate change is the biggest issue facing Ontario and the rest of the world.we must act to reduce our carbon footprint
The new Ontario government by cancelling the cap and trade and the green energy act will be opting to do absolutely nothing about climate change!!cap and trade while not perfect encourages businesses to reduce their carbon footprint and provides the government with funds to offer people incentives to personally conserve with green vehicles and or carbon reducing building incentives including solar panels .
A carbon tax is not a tax grab if the funds are returned to the taxpayer in this manner.
The world is watching Canada for leadership on climate mitigation
We CANNOT do nothing .
Cancelling the cap and trade is a BIG mistake if there is nothing to replace it.
