I am writing on behalf of myself, but even more so, on behalf of my children. As a parent, climate change is not just A voting issue, but perhaps THE voting issue: everything else (our economy, our health, our health care system, and so on) depend on effective action on climate change. I would like to plead with the Ontario government to be guided by evidence-based pollution reduction targets (especially in light of the recent IPCC report). Our future depends on carbon neutrality, and it's vitally important that all levels of government act accordingly.
