I agree with the Region of York which opposes this proposal because it will "place upward pressure on land values, discouraging the establishment of new employment business".
There are many intensification areas in Vaughan and this is not one of them...the appropriate use of the MZO would be to advance a mixed-use project in one of Vaughan's planned intensification areas.
This land abuts the Highway 400 onramp on Langstaff and will interfere with this Highway 400 ramp right of way.
This has not been allocated a servicing allocation and is seeking to develop the site at a higher density than the planned York Regions's 2022 Water and Wastewater Master Plan so how can you use an MZO which does not require any studies.
