I strongly disagree with the proposal to add 4 condos in the area of east of weston rd and langstaff.I have lived in weston downs for over 30 years and the traffic has become unbearable on westonrd and langstaff. Adding 4 condos will make the congestion so much worse. I can honestly say traffic in the area is worse than at king and bay where I work.
Furthermore, condos are only starter homes for most people and these people will want houses in a couple of years. I see the housing problem is a lack of affordable houses not condos. I think the focus of politicians should be to have houses built not condos in established neighborhoods. There is plenty of land just north of major Mackenzie which should be used rather than ruining established neighborhoods with condos adding to the already congestion. Please rethink your proposal and leave the established plans for our neighborhood as is. After all we bought our expensive homes based on the Vaughan zoning plans and it is not right that you pull the carpet from under our feet and change the zoning plans for our neighborhood.
