As a cyclist who rides my bike year round, bicycle lanes are extremely important to me. It is important to have enough space to create a robust barrier between you and the traffic. I have already been hit by one car and had many others cut me off. If we don't invest in bike lanes there will always be too many cars on the road.

By the way, I also believe the Ontario government should stop poking its nose into the business of municipalities.
