The ECA for Sewage works…

The ECA for Sewage works should be denied as it stands. The application does not take into account the primary consideration of minimizing storm water run off in to the Sydenham River. The traditional way of managing storm water runoff by allowing it to run into our lakes and river has the potential to impact my rights. I am a member of the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation and have been using this river to practice my traditional and cultural activities as my ancestors have since the great migration.
I am requesting full consultation on this ECA application to ensure my inherent rights under Section 35 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms are not impacted.
