How will the ministry allocate the last chance tags to hunters when the available tags are less than those interested in purchasing ??. The idea of allowing those to purchase tags right up until the hunt can impact those from a distance who need to plan in advance their trip, perhaps introduce a 1 month cutoff date timeline to either claim or not claim. Overall the system is working. We have gone from a member that finally got a bull tag after 31 years to a member with 20 points this year. It’ll take time but I think we are on a more equitable system in tag allowance.
