Once the bulk of the White Pines was closed by the Environmental Review Tribunal, the balance could have been scrapped by the IESO, but they didn't. They went ahead and gave approval during the provincxial elction, which they shouldn't have. The Government is right to scrap the project to protect the Blandings Turtle and the health of the residents because they were too close to them. The out-of-sync nature of wind power is forcing the spilling of water at our hydro dams, and is forcing the market price down, so as to deflate the market price, which causes us to lose money expoerting power, which does not include the Global Adjustment.
