This is so dumb. What would improve traffic is to stop forcing people back into the office when remote and hybrid work models are more effective for traffic management. Or even try and improve the bus/subway/transit system. Or even just make the lights sync up better.
Dont waste time removing something thats already there and that increases transport options for people, and focus on improving things elsewhere.
Waste of money, resources, manpower and would ultimately cause more problems in the future. Selfish and unnecessary bill.
