There are a number of things to say...
1/ Bike lanes are a municipal issue, not a provincial issue
2/ Every study shows that bike lanes actually
a) decrease traffic
b) increase spending at local stores
3/ Removal of bike lanes will lead to bikes taking up lanes for cars, actually causing a greater slow down in traffic
4/ Removal of bike lanes will lead to an increase in bike accidents causing injury and even death.
Please do not remove the bike lanes
