It feels very wrong to rip up existing bike lanes. Biking is a good way to exercise while also getting from one place to another without having to use a car (bikes being the more environmentally friendly way instead of cars which is an extra plus). It's one thing not building more lanes, but destroying existing ones? Please don't do that. There's research and studies that show how much biking improves not only people's health but also improve congestion.
