Removing and prohibiting bike lanes is taking us backward. Please listen to the evidence and the experts. Roads are for everyone, not just cars. If we get people out of cars, there will be less congestion. I am 60 and I like to ride my bike to work. I won't do so when I don't feel safe. There are so many health, environmental and mental well-being benefits that come from people using active travel, don't hinder that. Cycling cannot be politicized.
