This is a terrible idea. It will accomplish very little and destroy a lot. More and more people are cycling in Toronto as the effects of climate change become more and more apparent. It is vital that we stop relying on fossil fuels as much as we do. Bike lanes keep the roads safe for cyclists, drivers, and pedestrians. They are a necessity. There should be more bike lanes in the city, not less. This will be incredibly expensive and a waste of taxpayer money. I am totally opposed to this bill and think it is very wrong headed.
