This proposed legislation is an absolute joke. If Prabmeet Singh Sarkaria and Doug Ford wanted to have a say in how Toronto municipal streets are managed, they should run for Toronto City Council. Cars cause congestion. The solution to alleviating car congestion is to get more people to take alternate means of transportation - not add more cars! World class cities know that if they want to thrive and grow they need to prioritize pedestrians and public transit over personal vehicles.
